Christmas week is here. Typically we find ourselves settling in for some time off with a slower schedule. But the real estate market, and thus home inspections here in central Iowa as well as northern Iowa have been keeping us busy. And with four inspectors in the Des Moines area and one home inspector in the Mason City/Clear Lake area, we find ourselves with full calendars. As we look back over the past year we are grateful for all the new clients we’ve been able to serve; as well as numerous new real estate offices who are seeking reliable, honest and thorough home inspectors.

New construction inspections as well as one year warranty inspections are also on the rise. The number of new homes being built in the Des Moines suburbs in particular continues to be strong. And mild temperatures in December have helped.

Our home inspectors will be prepared to continue inspecting homes over the holidays with each inspector taking a few days off to enjoy time with family and friends. We’re looking forward to 2020 and hope you are to!
