We know everybody is outside doing yard work and landscaping projects. How can you not when most of the events you normally attend in the summer are canceled; restaurants are still limiting seating; and besides that, the weather has been amazing!

I don’t see any fish swimming – but there may be soon!

One of the most neglected outdoor home maintenance items we see is plugged gutters. On a recent inspection we found these gutters to still be full from who knows how many rains. Nothing good comes from this! It’s important to clean your gutters every year in the late fall and again early spring if needed. Now, not everyone likes to get up on ladders – we get that! So if you don’t, find a high school kid who might like to make a little extra spending money; or maybe there’s a neighbor who doesn’t mind ladders. At any rate, it’s something important that should be done.
